Baby Clothing Online Window Shopping

With two kids, the easiest way to go shopping is online. I can sit at the computer when they are asleep and take my time finding cute clothes. I don’t have to worry about people looking at me with the ‘I feel sorry for you face’ because one or both of the children are crying. Even when they are not crying, I am anxious the whole time anticipating an unhappy child. So, online shopping is for me stress-free and easy. Here are a few cute kid finds.

1. Sundress Candy – Sky Blue by MAKIÉ / 2. I Heart Rainbows – Appliqued Onesie and Leg Warmer Combo by mamarunswithscissors (Etsy) / 3. Pink Flower Graphic Short Sleeve Bodysuit by positively organic / 4. World Revolves Around Me – Toddler Tee by CantaloupeCorner (Etsy)

Can I please get a Nanny and Personal Chef? And if you are feeling generous, can you throw in a Housekeeper?

Being a Mom means that you wear a lot of different hats. We manage to do it all and still keep our sanity (at least on most days). My life would be so much easier if I had a Nanny, Personal Chef, and a Housekeeper. I would have so much free time to do things that people without kids take for granted like taking a long shower or bath, taking a walk by myself, leaving on the spur of the moment, and going out on dates with my husband. Though it would be nice to have all of those people helping me, I love my life and I enjoy my time with family. My babies will only be little for a short while and I plan on enjoying every moment (even when they are throwing tantrums and crying for no reason at all). Today, I wanted to highlight items that help to make my daily life easier.

Always a Mess – Fingerpainting with Yogurt

Jake (24 months old) loves his turtle. He takes that turtle everywhere. He has even decorated his shell with star stickers. The thing is that the turtle was actually a Christmas present for my youngest (6 month old). When Jake first saw it, he assumed it was his and now the turtle and him are inseparable. So why is the turtle covered with yogurt?

Me- Jake why are you doing that?
Jake – Turt (turtle) won’t open mouth
Me – Jake please stop.
Jake – Turt hungry. Eat Eat
Me – Jake if you do not want anymore yogurt, please stop playing with it
Jake – but Turt Eat Eat

So now, I am cleaning up a toy turtle and a little boy covered in yogurt.

Very Early Morning Yells – Help!!

So the 6 month old still wakes up about 3 times in the middle of the night (or I should say early morning). I know that it is my fault. The pediatrician told me to sleep train a couple of months ago, but I did not have the heart to do it. I did not sleep train the oldest (24 month old) and now finally he is sleeping through the night. I just can’t stand the cries and yells associated with the training and I know it only lasts a week but still. I tried before and the yells got to me even before 5 minutes. So as a result, I am stuck with this
at 12:00, 1:30, 3:00 and of course the I am totally wide awake at 5:00AM. The great thing about have 2 kids that are 18 months apart is that I am still in ‘you will get limited sleep’ mode.

So I ask you, did you sleep train? or are you just like me???
